'Silo Sights' - RV Basecamp Coonalpyn is an RV Fest that will be held in Coonalpyn, South Australia. Coonalpyn is home to a 30-metre high silo, which will be painted and completed in February 2017 by world-renowned artist Guido Van Helten (who also painted the Brim silos).
Silo Sights will be held from Sat 4 -Wed 8 March 2017, those who come along will be some of the first people in the world to see van Helten?s incredible silo creation.
While the mural may be one of the key features on the festival?s itinerary, what the region offers in culture, eco-tourism and history make it one of the great places to visit in Australia.
Some of the key icons on the itineraries include, Creating Coonalpyn arts tours & snail farm, visits to the Coorong National Parks, historic Poltalloch Station, Point Malcolm Lighthouse, Cosi?s rhino, Meningie?s ostrich & lake front, the Tailem Bend Railway Museum and much more.
There will be camping, entertainment and food packages for those attending as well as local events, including night owls lawn bowls, bingo, tennis, trivia nights, meals, tours and more. Not to mention the Coonalpyn Swimming Pool will is just next door!...
