The camp site is about 100 metres from Allports Beach, there are a couple of picnic tables and plenty of space for a few campers. Short term camping available (maximum of 3 weeks) You need not make a booking for camping areas it?s first in best dressed.
Allports Beach is a 150 m long slightly curving, north-facing relatively steep reflective beach. It is bordered by dune-capped granite points, with some boulders outcropping along the eastern end of the beach, and seagrass meadows growing 100 m offshore. The Allports Road runs down the backing slopes to a small reserve with a car park and toilets at the eastern end of the beach. A shaded free gas BBQ and picnic tables are provided, with the area for day use only, gas is kindly supplied by Parks and Wildlife. Fresh water for hand washing is available from a rainwater tank, however it is advisable to bring your own drinking water.
The shallow beach is safe for swimming, ideal for children and families....
