Today more than 6000 young people find themselves being cared for in nursing homes surrounded by people in their eighties. The Summer Foundation works to get people out of nursing homes and into their own homes.
Join the annual Upstream Challenge on November 19 and nominate the Summer Foundation as your beneficiary. Challenge yourself by taking part in the 20 kilometres or 50 kilometres walk to raise funds for young people trapped in aged care. One hundred per cent of funds raised go directly towards solving the issue.
