About Sydney Harbour Luxury Sailing Trip Including Lunch

Book Direct with the Owner at Sydney Harbour Luxury Sailing Trip Including Lunch with New South Wales Tourism in Sydney, for all your Attraction and travel needs.

Your yachting cruise departs from Darling Harbour and takes you under the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. You'll be able to take photographs of the Sydney Opera House and the Rocks, the birthplace of British settlement. You'll pass Farm Cove and Mrs. Macquaries Chair and Fort Denison, where during the early days of British settlement prisoners were left to survive on only bread and water.

Turning towards Sydney's affluent Eastern suburbs, you'll sail past some of Sydney's wealthiest harbor side homes. From Watsons Bay your yacht will cross the harbor entrance and anchor for lunch at historic Store Beach surrounded by beautiful natural bushland.

While your delicious lunch of sushi, avocado and prawn salad and chicken is being prepared, take a swim to the beach, relax with a glass of Australian beer or wine or toss a fishing line over the side of the yacht. Dessert of Belgium butter biscuits, cheesecake and fruit is also served.

In the early afternoon you'll head back to Darling Harbour, soaking up the sun and fresh air after enjoying an exhilarating day on your small group sailing trip on Sydney Harbour.

What a wonderful excursion! From start to finish, it was amazing. David checked in with us the day before and made sure we were comfortable with everything including where to meet the yacht. He was so interesting and really explained the history of the Harbour. We saw such beautiful estates and did some sailing as well! Lunch was excellent! I highly reccommend this!

We sailed with David last week and 2 other passengers. David explained the history of the harbor and showed us many of the homes with interesting comments about the owners. We met the beautiful sailboat in Darling Harbour. We anchored near a small beach and had a delicious lunch with sushi, backed chicken and a beautiful avocado and crab salad. The fresh baked bread was so good. David is a great guide and such a nice person! What a great way to see the Opera House and Bridge and famous beaches and sights.

What can I say but amazing!! Our captain Colin provided us with an amazing trip around Sydney Harbour. His wealth of knowledge about the area was incredible. He had a story for every inch of the Harbour. This is a must do excursion for a relaxing day sailing aboard a beautiful sailboat!!! Thank you Colin for making this trip so enjoyable for us.

Colin was an excellent host, he told us many interesting facts about the the famous people who have lovely homes on the harbour. Also the history of the harbour and the lovely heritage properties. We had the most delicious lunch and wine was great. The trip was beautiful some under sail and some under motor. This is a trip to appreciate Sydney from the water. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful day on the harbour.

Loved seeing Sydney from the Harbour and Colin was great! He also made us a fabulous lunch! Make sure you put on loads of sunscreen as we did get quite a burn. Remind Colin to put down the top so you are protected from the sun. We didn't do that for half of the trip.

If you go to Sydney, you have to see the city from the water, and there is no better way than a sail on Colin's 40 foot Benetteau. An excellent day's sail in Sydney Harbour, very good value for money. Four of us on the boat, with Colin. Time split between motoring and sailing out to the Heads and back. Colin is a lovely chap, and very knowledgeable about the harbour in many different ways. His lunch was exceeded out expectations - a first course of fresh sashimi followed by poached chicken with shrimp in a half avocado, followed by strawberry cheesecake. A 'small world' event occurred when we found out that his daughter had spent a term at our university in 2018, in our Department!

Very much enjoyed the sail in Sydney Harbour with Colin on his 40’ Beneteau Sailboat. He provided a wonderful AM narrative on the Sydney Harbour while motoring, due to light morning winds. The sail was between 10AM and 3PM. The sails were up later in the AM and PM. We anchored near a lovely beach for an enjoyable lunch of sushi, avocado and prawns. The boat seats 8, My wife and I were joined by 5 others for 7 on board. Made for a comfortable sail. The only negative was, Colin committed to provide transportion from our hotel to the dock. An error was made somewhere along the line by his team and it didn’t happen. We called, he apologized and we Urbered to him on our dime. Creating a slight delay for the others waiting. I found this excursion in a Travel and Leisure magazine article my sister provided me. Thx Sis!

Went sailing with Colin Madden on January 13. Having been a sailor for over 20 years in Chicago, I was looking forward to the experience. I wasn’t disappointed. We initially motored while Colin pointed out various attractions in the Harbour, including, where the rich and famous lived. Eventually, we were underway sailing within the Harbour. Colin owns a very comfortable Beneteau with furling jib and main. This is a sailboat which one person can manage. Colin was kind enough to drop me off so that I could buy a Sydney to Hobart shirt from the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. The Sydney to Hobart race is one of the most famous sailboat races in the world. Colin could not have been nicer or more informative.

This tour is a great way to see and learn about Sydney Harbour. Our guide, Colin, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the harbour and fun details about the amazing houses surrounding the east side of the harbour. Colin provided excellent service and lunch while expertly navigating all the different bays in the harbour.
